Discover Scuba Dive - Need to know
Not a certified diver, not sure if you're going to like it or if you have the time to commit for full certification? The SDI Scuba Discovery program allows you to dive without being certified, under the close guidance of an instructor. We start with some basic theory and an introduction to the equipment then head to Casa Cenote to practice some safety skills and make a dive to around 8 metres.
Afterwards, if you liked it and want to continue, you have the option of going for a second dive in the ocean to a maximum depth of 12 metres, again with your instructor. One or both of these dives can count towards your Open Water Certification if you choose to continue on and become a certified diver.
